FXDirectDealer Demo Application FXDirectDealer requires that all customers download the demonstration version of FXDD and become familiar with the applications functionality before opening a live trading account. During which time we encourage any questions or queries regarding the use of the application. Complete Registration, Download and Installation Process To do the complete Demo Registration (required for issuance of User Name and Password), Download and Installation process, click on the box below:
Complete Registration Download and Installation Instructions Below are the detailed instructions for the registration, download, installation and launch of the demo application. The screen shots may be slightly different depending on your Windows operating system. If there is any problem in this process, please call FXDirectDealer support at 212-791-3494 or email us at support@fxdd.com. STEP 1: Fill out the Demo Customer Registration Form Click here for the Demo Registration Form. Below is sample Demo Registration Form:
After you have completely filled out the form, click the "Submit" button FXDD User Name and Password. information will be emailed to the email address submitted in the FXDD Demo Registration Form.
The Software Download and Installation Process will now begin.
STEP 2: FXDirectDealer Software Download and Installation Process Click here for the Download and Installation
Click on Software Download and Installation to start the FXDD download and installation process.
STEP 3: Software Installation - With Java or without Java? The FXDD trading application requires the use of Sun Microsystems Java Runtime Environment (JRE) JRE version 1.3.1 or higher. Due to prior application needs, the application may already be resident on your computer's hard drive. To check, click on Windows <START>, <Control Panel>, <Add/Remove Programs> and search down the list of installed programs for "Java Runtime Environment". The list of programs installed are normally in alphabetical order and should appear in a similar format to the Windows XP example below.
Click on "Close" to exit the Add or Remove Programs window. If a Java release 1.3.1 or higher is already installed, there is no need to download the application with the FXDD program. Choose the "Without Java VM". If Java 1.3.1 or higher is not installed, select the "Includes Java VM" option. Below is the Software Installation page:

The Download/Installation process will include the following steps and screens (NOTE: Dependent on Windows operating system used, these steps may vary slightly. If you have any questions or problems, please call the FXDirectDealer Technical Help Desk at 212-791-3494.)
The following screen will be displayed. Click on "Open" to download the FXDD demo application.
STEP 4: The FXDD Installation Process The installation process should automatically launch once the download is complete.
Click on Next >> to start the install.
The following screen will appear next:
Click on Install.
After the program has been installed the screen below will appear indicating the installation was completed:
Click on Finished to complete the Install.
STEP 5: Launching FXDirectDealer To Launch FXDirectDealer, click on <Start> <Programs> <FXDirectDealer> and <FXDD Trader - Demo>:
Login to FXDirectDealer:
FXDirectDealer will launch. STEP 6: Updating FXDirectDealer FXDirectDealer is continually updating the FXDD application. When a new version is available, a message will appear that will instruct the user to the steps required for updating.
